Maine Sea Duck Hunting at it’s Finest!!!

Hunt Maine for Sea Ducks, Sea Ducks, and more Sea Ducks!  Enjoy hunting Maine’s coast for Eiders, Scoters and Old Squaws.  Experience Maine’s premier wing shooting, sea ducks come in low and deceivingly fast, making the shooter not only admire their beauty, but agility and speed as well.  Once you’ve experienced this type of wing shooting it’s hard not to want to go again. The birds fly shortly after legal time and the action can be the best the Atlantic flyway enjoys.

Our duck season starts October 1st (for both puddle and sea ducks) and runs through January 31st (with puddle ducks closing sometime around Christmas).  All the months can be action packed with October, November, and December yielding both puddle and sea duck limits.  Hunters have shot, Mallards, Blacks and Teal all from the same location as shooting a limit of Eiders, Scoters and Old Squaws.  January is also a great month to hunt sea ducks.  The drake Eiders and Old Squaw are here in full swing and have offered many early morning limits.
    
Your Maine Sea Duck Hunt will start early and we’ll be set up in the boat or on the jetty before legal shooting, even time for a coffee.  The boat is a fully rigged 20’ Lund Alaskan with a full blind set on the boat.   The jetty and islands truly offer the traditional sea duck setting, with the rocks under your feet and the water at your edge it will be some of the most spectacular and breath taking scenery you will experience, AND then the sea ducks start flying!
