Maine guided Sea Duck, Rabbit, Turkey, Deer and Moose hunts. Maine guided hunting and fishing trips by Master Maine Guide and Coast Guard Captain, Troy Fields. Traditions Guide Service is a four season operation. In the Spring, it’s all about turkeys. Summer is for fishing; stripers, bluefish, bass and trout. Fall offers a lot of different opportunities. Ducks, Deer, Moose, Turkey and Rabbits are all fair game. In the Winter season we are still chasing the sea ducks and also doing some rabbit hunts as well.

Traditions Guide Service is located in southern Maine on Mousam Lake. Most of our services are for the southern part of the state but some trips do take us to Rangeley, up in the western mountains of Maine.

Lodging is seasonal, from April through November. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people and is only a few feet from the shoreline. There are docks for boat tie up and the shoreline is sandy and gradual which is great for swimming. Fishing on the lake is good and yields just about all the freshwater species that the state has to offer.
